१२ चैत, काठमाडौं । सोमबार साँझ कलंकीस्थित एलआरआई स्कुल नजिकको सडक-खण्डमा दुई पक्षबीच ग्याङफाइट भयो । कुटाकुटमा चार जना घाइते भए । घाइतेमध्ये एकजनाको अवस्था गम्भीर थियो ।

गम्भीर घाइते दोलखा मेलुङ गाउँपालिका–४ घर भई काठमाडौंको चन्द्रागिरि नगरपालिका–७ बस्ने २३ वर्षीय अभय भनिने अबे तामाङलाई तत्कालै उपचारका लागि कलंकीस्थित शहीद ममोरियल अस्पताल लगियो । राति साढे ८ बजेतिर चिकित्सकले उनलाई मृत घोषित गरे । यो ग्याङफाइटमा घाइते भएका अभयबाहेक अन्य तीन जनाको उपचार भइरहेको छ ।

जिल्ला प्रहरी परिसर काठमाडौंका एसपी तथा प्रवक्ता अपिलराज बोहोराका अनुसार नागढुंगा बस्ने २३ वर्षीय सन्दीप भुजेल, हटौंडा घर भई नैकाप बस्ने २२ वर्षीय चक्रे भनिने पवन तामाङ र चन्द्रागिरि नगरपालिका–१४ बस्ने २२ वर्षीय पासाङ शेर्पाको ओम समाज अस्पताल सिप्रदीमा उपचार भइरहेको छ ।

सन्दीपको टाउको र बायाँ औंलामा, चक्रेको टाउको र मुखमा अनि पासाङको टाउको र बायाँ हातको दुई वटा औंलामा चोट लागेको छ । उपचार भइरहेकाहरुको अवस्थामा सामान्य र सुधारोन्मुख रहेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

ग्याङफाइटको सूचना पाउनासाथ प्रहरी वृत्त कालीमाटी, जिल्ला प्रहरी परिसर काठमाडौं र काठमाडौं उपत्यका अपराध अनुसन्धान कार्यालयको टोली घटनास्थलमा खटिएको थियो।

ग्याङफाइटमा संलग्न भएको आरोपमा प्रहरीले अहिलेसम्म १७ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेर अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ । उनीहरुलाई म्याद थपका लागि काठमाडौं जिल्ला अदालतमा समेत उपस्थित गराइएको छ ।

नियन्त्रणमा लिइएकाहरुमध्ये हत्यामा क–कसको संलग्नता छ भन्ने विषयमा स्क्रिनिङ गरेर म्याद थप गर्ने प्रक्रिया भइरहेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

पहिले एकै समूह, दुश्मनी बढेपछि दुई समूहमा विभाजित

अहिले ग्याङफाइट गरेका दुई समूहका व्यक्ति पहिले एकै समूहमा रहेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ । प्रहरीका अनुसार यो समूहका मुख्य व्यक्ति रोहित खड्का हुन् । उनी र्‍याबिटका नामले चिनिन्छन् । रोहितको समूह कलंकी र आसपासका क्षेत्रमा मदिरा र लागुऔषधको नसामा झुम्म भएर बस्ने गरेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

होलीको अघिल्लो दिन यो समूहका निश्चल मगर र हाल मारिएका अभयबीच विवाद भएपछि दुश्मनी बढ्दै गएको प्रहरीको दाबी छ । त्यसपछि एउटा समूहको नेतृत्व अभयले र अर्को समूहको नेतृत्व र्‍याबिट (रोहित)ले गरेको पाइएको एक अनुसन्धान अधिकारी बताउँछन् । विवाद भएपछि अभयले निश्चललाई थप्पड हानेको बताइएको छ ।

होलीको अघिल्लो दिनको विवादबाट सुरु भएको झगडाले तेस्रो दिनमा आइपुग्दा अर्को झगडाको रुप लिएको एक अनुसन्धान अधिकृत बताउँछन् । त्यसपछि यो दुई समूह भौतिक रुपमा आक्रमणमा उत्रिन थालेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

पहिले एउटै समूह थियो । होलीको अघिल्लो दिन निश्चल मगर र हाल मारिएका अभयबीच विवाद भएपछि एउटा समूह फुटेर दुईटा भयो । एउटा समूहको नेतृत्व अभयले लिए, अर्कोको नेतृत्व र्‍याबिट (रोहित)ले ।

रोहितले आफ्नो मोबाइल अभयको समूहका व्यक्तिले चोरेको आरोप लगाएका छन् । रोहितको भनाइ उद्धृत गर्दै एक अनुसन्धान अधिकारी भन्छन्, ‘मोबाइल अभयकै समूहका पासाङले चोरेको भनिएको छ ।’

अनि भयो ग्याङफाइट

होलीको अघिल्लो दिनदेखिको विवाद र दुश्मनी, मोबाइल चोरी र थप्पडसम्म हानिएको घटनाले यो दुई समूह पानी बारबारको अवस्थामा पुगेको थियो । एकले अर्कालाई जहाँ भेट्यो त्यही कुट्नेसम्मको अवस्थामा पुगेका उनीहरुबीच ग्याङफाइटसम्म हुने स्थिति आएको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

त्यसपछि उनीहरुले एकले अर्कालाई फोन र म्यासेज गर्दै ‘भिड्ने भए आइज’ भन्दै चुनौती दिने गरेको पाइएको परिसरका एसपी तथा प्रवक्ता बोहोरा बताउँछन् । सोही क्रममा सोमबार दुई समूहबीच पूर्वजानकारी गराएरै भिड्न तयार भएको देखिएको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।

प्रहरीका अनुसार हाल मारिएका अभय चार जनाको समूह लिएर कलंकी पुगेका थिए भने रोहितको समूहमा २० जना रहेको पाइएको एसपी बोहोरा बताउँछन् ।

त्यसपछि दुई समूहबीच अन्धाधुन्दा आक्रमण हुँदा चार जनाको समूहका अभय मारिए । तीन जना घाइते भए । संसाँझै संघीय राजधानीको व्यस्त सडक कलंकीमा दुई समूहबीच झडप हुँदा एक युवाको ज्यान गयो । तीन युवा घाइते भए ।

झगडाको बेलामा समेत उनीहरुले मदिरा र अन्य लागुऔषध सेवन गरेको दाबी प्रहरीले गरेको छ । ‘हामीले पक्राउ गर्दा केही नसाकै सुरमा थिए । नसाकै सुरमा धारिलो हतियार, रड, नक प्रहार गरेको देखिन्छ,’ एक अनुसन्धान अधिकृतले भने ।

पक्राउ पर्नेको संख्या १६ पुग्यो, ४ अझै फरार

झडपलगत्तै अनुसन्धानमा खटिएको प्रहरीले अहिलेसम्म १६ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ । उपत्यकाका विभिन्न ठाउँबाट प्रहरीले उनीहरुलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ ।

पक्राउ पर्नेहरुमा अभयमाथि रड तथा धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गर्ने मुख्य व्यक्ति पर्साको सखुवा प्रसौनी गाउँपालिका–१ घर भई कामठाडौं नागार्जुन नगरपालिका–१० स्याचाटार बस्ने २१ वर्षीय आशिष श्रेष्ठ, धादिङको गल्छी गाउँपालिका–५ घर भई नागार्जुन हसनटार बस्ने २१ वर्षीय सुजन तामाङ, चन्द्रागिरि नगरपालिका–१५ का २७ वर्षीय राज अर्याल छन् ।

त्यसैगरी सिन्धुलीको कमलामाई नगरपालिका–११ घर भएका २० वर्षीय डेनियल विश्वकर्मा, सर्लाहीको बागमती नगरपालिका–५ घर भएका २० वर्षीय निश्चल ब्लोन तामाङ, सुनसरी घर भई कलंकी बस्ने १९ वर्षीय सुशान श्रेष्ठ, धादिङको सिद्धलेक गाउँपालिका–७ घर भई नागार्जुन स्युचाटार बस्ने २३ वर्षीय विनय आलेमगर छन् ।

उदयपुरको ताप्ली गाउँपालिका–७ घर भई ललितपुर एकान्तकुना बस्ने २१ वर्षीय खेमराज बहादुर मगर, ताप्ली गाउँपालिका–७ नै घर भएका २० वर्षीय साङ्गे तामाङ, गोरखाको गण्डकी गाउँपालिका–१ भर भई कलंकी बस्ने २२ वर्षीय रन्जित श्रेष्ठ, नागार्जुन स्युचाटारका २५ वर्षीय अजित बुढाथोकी, स्युचाटारकै २५ वर्षीय रोहित खड्का, नवलपरासी पूर्व देवचुली नगरपालिका–९ घर भएका २० वर्षीय प्रविन झेडी, तनहुँको ब्यास नगरपालिका–१० का १९ वर्षीय गौतम कमर जोगी, सुनसरीको धरान उपमहानरपालिका–७ का २२ वर्षीय प्रवेश गुरुङ र काठमाडौं दक्षिणकालीका २२ वर्षीय डेबिट घले छन् ।

पक्राउ परेकाहरुविरुद्ध काठमाडौं जिल्ला अदालतबाट कर्तव्य ज्यानको कसुरमा ५ दिनको म्याद लिएर अनुसन्धान अघि बढाइएको एसपी बोहोराले बताए । उनीहरुविरुद्ध प्रहरी वृत्त कालिमाटीले अनुसन्धान अघि बढाएको छ ।

यो प्रकरणमा अझै चार जना पक्राउ पर्न बाँकी नै रहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । उनीहरुको पहिचान भइसकेकाले चाँडै पक्राउ पर्ने दाबी प्रहरीले गरेको छ ।

Talking about the design, the Proton e.Mas 7 comes with a sleek, stylish, and modern design. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4615 mm x 1901 mm x 1670 mm and has a wheelbase of 2750 mm. Battery

Talking about the battery of the Proton e.Mas 7, it offers two battery variants. First one is Prime Variant and is equipped with a 49.52 kWh AEGIS Short Blade Battery. Likewise, the second is the Premium Variant that comes with a larger 60.22 kWh AEGIS Short Blade Battery.

As for charging, it comes with a 7.2 kW Charger, for the Prime variant and takes around 7 hours to completely charge. On the other hand, the Premium variant takes approximately 8.5 hours  to charge. It also supports DC Fast Charging, so it allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in mere 40 minutes.

The government of Nepal has given a 30-day ultimatum to Facebook, Instagram, X, etc. (Formerly Twitter) to register. The move comes as the government aims to regulate social media networks operating in Nepal.

The government released a notice in which, it requested social networking sites to get registered in Nepal.

The notice states, “Social networks are hereby notified to register with this ministry (Communication Ministry) within 30 days by the Social Media Management Directive 2080, and to also arrange for a contact point within Nepal to hear complaints and an officer to monitor self-regulation compliance.”

In recent months, the government has stepped up efforts to bring many social network platforms and digital services under its regulation. Also, the government wants them to contribute to various causes and provide value for users/public in Nepal. For e.g., after the ban is lifted, TikTok has made several commitments in Nepal including promoting businesses while also playing a role in generating employment. So far, Rakuten Viber, TikTok, etc. have been registered in Nepal.

Broadly speaking, the government wants to bring foreign digital companies under taxation and regulation. Earlier, the ride-sharing platform inDrive was also registered in Nepal.

Government warns to ban Facebook, X, and Instagram if they are not registered in 30 days

In its notice, the government has warned that if Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms don’t come into contact and register, they can face a possible ban.

The government referenced Section 3 of Sub Section 7 in the Social Media Management Directive 2080 which allows the government to disable access to social networks that are not registered in the country.

Facebook is an extremely popular social media site used in Nepal with over 12 million users in Nepal while Insta and X are more popular among the youth. It’s interesting to see if the US-based platforms reach out to the government to register. We are also skeptical if the government will proceed to bar access to these social sites.
