Nepal’s leading ride-sharing app, Pathao Nepal, has launched the “Pathao Rental“ service. The company said that the new service is part of its “Moving Nepal” theme, which lets customers book a car, SUV, micro, mini bus, or even a large bus for their commute.
What is the Pathao Rental service?
Pathao Rental service is a new ride-sharing service that allows users to book a vehicle that suits their needs. Unlike the regular two-wheeler or car booking, the rental service lets customers even hail a mini bus, micro bus, or a large bus. Pathao says that the service is useful for people who want to book a vehicle for occasions such as marriage, picnic, tourism, office, or other types of group excursions.
To use a Pathao Rental service, you must book your ride at least one hour before or a week in advance.
Speaking about Pathao Rental service, the company’s Managing Director Asheem Man Singh Basnyat said that customers can quote their own price for a booking, and the fare is determined on the consensus of both parties. The final charge includes costs of road fees, parking, fuel, hotel stay, etc.

Pathao Rental gives drivers more opportunities to earn
Pathao Nepal says that the rental service gives drivers an extra opportunity to generate earnings. “The Pathao rental service has been introduced for the convenience of passengers and an opportunity for additional income for Pathao drivers,” said Pathao Nepal MD Basnyat. “Through this service, we aim to make travel more organized, transparent, and technology-friendly.”
The company says that the Pathao Rental service also comes with insurance facilities.
According to the company, users will be able to book a vehicle 24 hours a day, and a 24-hour customer support service has been launched to address any complaints during the journey.
